High Performance
Whats the difference between grand touring all season tires and high performance all season tires?
I'm thinking about buying some new tires for my dodge charger, and the orginal factory tires are grand touring tires. I went to tirerack and realized they also have high performance all season tires i could buy instead of the grand touring. My question is whats the difference between the two tires?I'm a performance guy myself, so instantly was leaning towards buying the high performance all season tires, but i don't know if it will benefit me more then the orginal grand touring tires.
grant touring ,or what some call the gt tire is rated for higher speeds and all season tires are good for all types of driving,like winter weather ,mud and snow conditions also,they will have a different tread design that will allow them to get more traction then the grand touring tire,good luck.

can a good high performance shift kit beat a manual transmission?
could a th350 with a high performance shift kit beat a 4speed if the person with the 4speed did not no how to shift properly for racing.
both cars are stock 350 v8
i was told that if you dont power shift with a manual a car with a shift would murder you off the line. Above this was just a scenario so you could possibly give a better answer
maybe getting off the line not good example. but you know what i mean racing.
if the manual has a stock transmission and clutch, they the auto should beat it. I don't know much about that EXACT shift kit, but the expensive ones that replace a lot of parts will make an auto transmission shift faster than any human can, with the least about of momentum loss.
