Paintball Gun Eye
What do I need to know on how to clean my paintball gun? And what are the eyes on a paintball gun?
sorry for noobness. i just got a jt quadra and ive been paintballing for about 8 months. all i need to know is keeping my gun working and clean.
Clean the barrel with a 50/50 solution of water and rubbing alcohol and run a soft cloth through it. Clean everything else with paper towels, but not the eyes. Use another soft cloth to wipe them off. You don't want to scratch those. And make sure you oil the bolt and all the o-rings.
The "eyes" are infra-red beams that detects the paintballs in the chamber. It keeps the gun from firing if a ball hasn't loaded or loaded completely into the chamber, so it doesn't chop it.

I'm thinking of purchasing a MR2/MR3 but i do not know what the eye is please help out.
Eye comes in most paintball markers. it detects if the ball is in the breach. the marker won't fire unless the ball is in the breach. this reduces the chance of chops
