What paintball gun is better The tippmann A5 E or the Tippmann custom pro E?
What paintball gun is better The tippmann A5 E or the Tippmann custom pro E? i was planning on customizing the gun with a 20" barrel and put a red dot scope on there to mainly camp and snipe. if you have any other suggestions to other guns.. im open to them
I personally would go with the custom. I've tried almost all Tippmann guns, and the Custom class of the guns seems to be the most efficient and reliable. Of course the A5 would have about all of the same features, but you're going to be much happier shopping for extras for the Custom as well.

Tippmann A-5 paintball gun help?
I am looking to buy a scope or a red dot sight for my Tippmann a-5. I understand they are mostly for show but do you think I am better off buying a flattop rail mount or one that is raised? Examples:

The first one will fit on your A5 without any modifications.
The second one will have to be bolted on and would require modification to the top part of you A5.
Get a Red dot sight since it will give you an estimation of where your shot will go. A scope will see to far and be too accurate for the paintball.
The scope will be only for show, the red dot will have some function.
Additionally, you normally need a riser of some kind in order to use the sights, especially with a stock.
