Paintball Marker Eyes what is a good paintball marker for $500 or less?
I've been reading most of the reviews here and I'm still debating on what I should get. The Ion has deffinettly caught my eye but I don't want to get hasty. I want to still get your feeback on what I should get.
I'm looking for a marker that will handel woodsball and speedball. It needs to be semi-auto, electronic, light, maintainable, and will do me good for awhile

I know the Ion sounds pretty good, I have one my self but it had host me an additional 300 to upgrade for me to be happy. Also with the Ion it does not come with a locking feed neck, the stock one sucks you'd have to sand down your hopper stem to make it fit. I bought a trinity locking feed neck for about 40. I'm now looking at a Proto Rail, 400 with tax. Out of the box it shoots as fast as my Ion and comes with a locking feed neck, pretty cool huh. I just don't like the trigger, it has a rubber thingie on it. Easy fix though with a razor, also it's easier to clean. Hope this helps.

How it WorksThe Closer firing sequence begins when the trigger is pulled activating the micro switch. If the break-beam infrared eye system senses that a paintball is properly staged in the breech the motherboard energizes the solenoid coil opening its valve. This volume of air travels through a passage where it terminates against the back face of the ram. The ram is accelerated forward by said volume of air pushing the bolt which pushes the staged paintball into firing position. Once the staged paintball is in firing position the ram continues forward even further engaging the poppet shaft. The poppet valve is forced open. A blast of air rushes from the primary air chamber through the poppet valve housing. This air blast is then redirected around the primary air chamber through the bolt toward the paintball accelerating the ball to 300 FPS in less than 6 inches of barrel length. During this process the solenoid coil has already been de-energized redirecting a volume of air through another passage where it terminates against the front face of the ram. Finally this volume of air accelerates the ram backward allowing the poppet valve to close while withdrawing the bolt. Now the on-deck paintball will fall into the staged position and the firing sequence may begin again. What’s New and Innovative?The Marq Series was engineered for speed. Ease of maintenance and repair were also at the for-front of this markers revolutionary conception. The inline regulator receptacle has been combined with the mainbody and the grip frame sports a thin light weight design the width of a common 9 volt battery. Great paintball gun for under $200.?
I'm looking for the best paintball gun under $200 dollars. Since the price is low I know my options are limited. Ideally, the paintball gun will have anti-chop eyes and have an electric board.

The latest spyder electra is $200 almost exactly. While i like spyders and think they've come a long way since i first bought one, they're seemingly overpriced now that Proto & Smart Parts have their own guns in that same range or lower.
Will you be using hpa or co2? If co2, you're limited to spyders and the Smart Parts Vibe (which is 150, btw). With hpa, you have near-limitless options (well, limited by your budget mostly). However, hpa tanks are $50-200. Plus, you'll want a good hopper, which has nearly the same price range as hpa tanks ($45-150). You may have to figure all that into your budget as well.
