Help With Customizing tippman 98 custom?

Stock right now. What Should i get for it to make it a good paintball marker??? Should i use Co2 or Compressed air tanks??? I'm new to sport and want to maybe get a team started. also What gear should i get??? (like protective, holders) Thanks For help!

First off get a better barrel such as a Werks, J&J Ceramic, or various Smart Parts Barrels. Second, if you play woodsball get a stock for better balance and accuracy when firing. The 98C works with compressed air (HPA) or CO2. It really depends on if you have a place to get a comp. air tank filled. If you don't then stick with CO2. Comp. air is better for your gun but with a 98C it doesn't matter. Also you get less shots on a 48ci 3000psi comp. air tank than a 20oz CO2 (around 600 for the comp. air and 1100 for the 20oz.) and compressed air works better when it's cold.

If you want to start a team then you're playing the wrong kind of paintball. Teams are usually only for tournaments or speedball and you don't wanna play speedball with a 98C. There are mechanical tournaments you could play with your Custom if you get a double trigger (TechT Fang Trigger is the best) and a cyclone feed.

You could get a pod harness but unless you shoot a lot or play scenario games you probably don't need it. Protective gear is cool but I'd stick with camo in the woods. They do have camo or black paintball pants that would work fine for woods. Protective gear for speedball is expensive though.
