Where to get cheap electric paintball gun?
I am going to try and build a new type of paintball/airsoft gun. I guess that a really cheap paintball gun would be a good place to start. It needs to be electronic so I can have different firing modes. The plan is to make a gun that uses magazine instead of a hopper and co2 tank. The magazine will hold the ammo and enough compressed air to shoot off all the shots in the magazine. So I would probably have to mod the paintball gun for this. But anyway I need one really cheap.
You should find a really, really good airsmith. I'd suggest starting with http://www.docsmachine.com/ as he's likely one of the best. He's done some pretty serious custom work, and can mill his own receivers and other parts. Also, sending him a case or two of Mountain Dew is never a bad idea.

First, let's take a look at what they are.
Airsoft games are organized activities using airsoft guns. Airsoft guns are replicas of real guns which fire plastic pellets using the power of a mechanical spring, gas or electricity.
Originally developed in Japan, these guns soon became popular in the United States. Initially they were used for target practice and range shooting, but later elaborate 'games' were developed ranging from simple one-to- one scenarios to full battle simulations.
