Question about clamp lights?
Okay, so here's the deal.
Last night, I went to Lowe's and bought a cheap $12 clamp light.
As I was reading the warning label on the light, it said that that there are several chemicals with the item, "including lead", and that lead is known to the State of California to cause cancer and other bad things.
So here's the question: is the lead just inside the light-bulb socket, or is it on the outside part (The aluminum "funnel" thing)?
The warning says to wash your hands after use and yaddy yaddy ya, but it's kind of freaking me out. But it's the lead is just on the inside (something I won't touch) then I won't be freaked out.
The danger is relatively small. The amount of lead (quantity) doesn't matter in California, just the tiniest portion requires that warning to in California just to allow it to be sold.
You should read some of the warning on medicine which is taken by millions. You would probably never take medicine again.
