Spyder Paintball Markers Tippmann
How should I spend my paintball budget (knowledgable answers only please)?
Ok, so I have around 300-350 dollars to spend on paintball markers right now. I want to buy a pump marker (more primary) and a semi-auto electro or a decent mechanical (more secondary, maby an autococker?). The things I'm considering for the pump are the phantom, a trilogy cocker with pump (but I hate the center mounted feed neck, so i would have to buy an elbow and a raised sight), or a kaos pump (but the farting noise is kinda stupid lol). For the other semi, I was thinking a lower end cocker, a higher end spyder (there are tons used in really good condition for cheap), a azodin blitz. Don't bother suggesting like a tippmann or a BT or anything like that becuase I have owned a few and don't like the weight or feel. ANY ADVICE WOULD BR HELPFUL THANKS.
Ah, okay. I'm not the greatest with pump guns, but I've heard Phantoms are more popular. As for a secondary, look into the Smart Parts SP-1. The things are a wonder of modern gear: they can shoot HPA/CO2, shoot underwater (apparently even the electric ones), and are lightweight. A teammate is getting one, and I've held and fired one at our local shop. It's a nice looking marker.

If money is no issue I would recommend a Ninja HPA tank. Size of the tank is whatever fits you best. The most common size used and sold is the 68/4500. I do recommend getting a 4500 psi tank over a 3000psi tank. You will get a good amount more shots out of a 4500 and they have the highest resale value if you ever decide to get a new tank.
The spyder marker you are looking at is ok. Not the best out there they are good beginner markers. Spyders are low end markers that are marketed off to Wal-Mart and sporting good stores. Spyder markers work fine but if you want a good marker I would recommend either an azodin blitz or an autococker. They are much better markers and if you get an autococker they can be customized and tweaked to work the best for you and your style of play. There is a reason why autococker is one of the oldest markers made and they haven't really changed in the 15 years that they have been made. They are just great markers all the way from beginners up to pros.
If you are not a real technical person and you are just looking at getting into the sport I would say go for an azodin. If you are more technical and want to be able to play with your marker and make it the best for you get an autococker. I do not recommend an autococker to people that are not very technical and that don't want to work on markers because autocockers are more intricate and are markers that if you own them you really wana learn how they work so that you can make it work the best for you.
