im a recreational paintball player and i have played 7 or 8 times now and i cannot seem to get the perfect shot wiith a rental. i am planning to purchase a gun and i wanted to know what i should get in the 300-500$ pricerange that would be very accurate, mobile, and fast shooting, i also want a hopper as well. And is this a good gun package?
Don't buy paintball stuff from Amazon. Go directly to the paintball store website because they offer free shipping for orders over a certain amount (usually $100) while Amazon would charge you that shipping.
For your price range, you can get something lighter, faster & more mobile than a Tippmann. However, as a relatively newer player, a Tippmann would serve you well as a beginner gun. But that's a pretty expensive one.

Never buy paintball gear from one of these general sporting good stores - they're way over-priced. Head to a paintball store or buy online. You'll also come across package deals that way.
What kind of paintball will you be playing? Tippmanns are good for woodsball & recball while spyders & piranhas are generally good for anything (except for Spyder's MR series, which are woodsball guns). I'd choose a spyder over a piranha, not that piranhas aren't good, they're just not advancing at the rate that spyders are (outdated features, outdated looks).
I'd choose the Sonix over all those but that's just my preference.
